Bird Behavior (Vocabulary): Conures do not have as large a vocabulary as parrots. There does not seem to be any information on what breed of conures are the best talkers. King Crayon is a good talker he can say quite clearly the following... "hello", "hello baby", "hang on", "night night", "quiet", and "night night baby". He also imitates my laugh. You usually have to repeat a word over and over again over months or years before they will pick it up. Digit before he died last june (1996) could say "hello", and "hello baby". Baby the dusky conure is a whistler.
